High pressure sand is sprayed through a nozzle to slowly etch away the surface.  The sand blasting process creates amazing detail in glass and a deep cut design which you cannot get with laser etching. It will not fade or wash off making it dishwasher safe and requires no maintenance to preserve the etching - it's permanent!  Due to the crafted nature and rustic design, each piece will be unique and will contain variations in glassware.
